Absturzberichte

Privacy Policy for the “MorseLux” app

Last updated: November 1, 2026

In short: The app does not collect any personal data. There is no account, no advertising, no tracking and no analytics. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.

Data on your device

For the app to work, it stores the following data only locally on your iPhone:

The Morse keyboard and the widget read some of these settings from a shared storage area on your device. This data is never sent to us or to third parties. Deleting the app removes it completely.

Morse keyboard and “Full Access”

The keyboard asks for “Full Access”. Without it, iOS does not let the keyboard read the storage area it shares with the app on your device. The keyboard uses Full Access for two things only:

The keyboard does not store what you type, writes nothing to the shared storage, does not read the clipboard and does not send any data over the internet. Without Full Access it works with its default settings: the dot and dash keys and “Letters to Morse” always work, the tap key and vibration do not.

Microphone and camera

The app asks for either only when you open the feature yourself, and only with your permission:

Sound and picture are only analyzed at that moment on your device. Nothing is recorded, stored or sent. As soon as you close the screen, microphone and camera are off again. You can withdraw the permission at any time in the iPhone Settings.

Share as sound

With “Share as sound” the app creates an audio file of your Morse code on your device. It only goes to the app or person you choose yourself in the share sheet.

Shortcuts and Siri

When you use the app’s shortcuts (e.g. “Translate text to Morse”), the text is translated on your device and handed back to your shortcut. The app itself sends nothing. Siri is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Purchases (MorseLux Pro)

Subscriptions and one-time purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive payment details such as card or account numbers. The app only asks Apple whether a purchase is active, to unlock Pro. Payments are covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy. You manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.

Notifications

If you start a free trial and allow it, the app schedules a reminder before the trial ends. This notification is scheduled on your device only; no data is sent. You can turn notifications off at any time in the iPhone Settings.

Crash reports

If you agreed in the iPhone Settings to “Share With App Developers”, Apple provides us with anonymized crash reports. You control this yourself under Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

Your rights

Since we do not process any personal data about you, we hold no data that we could disclose, correct or delete. Under the GDPR you still have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. If you have questions, write to the email address above.

Children

The app does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If the app changes in a way that requires updating this policy, we will update it here and change the date at the top.

Teclado Morse y «Acceso total»
